Our history …
Pedro Méndez began making wines in the Salnés Valley (Pontevedra) in 2015, recovering abandoned vineyards of native varieties of the area.
He currently works with the varieties Albariño, Espadeiro, Mencía and Caiño tinto, making wines outside the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin, allowing him to make more personal wines.
Pedro Méndez’s wines are characterized by their freshness and Atlantic character, resulting in lively, elegant and long-drinking wines, with minimal intervention in the winery and maximum respect for the vineyard, thus expressing the varieties to their full potential, reminiscent of the wines of yesteryear in the Salnés Valley.
